WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our congregations have served our communities for over 100 years. First as Methodist Episcopal Churches, then as the denomination split and merged we were Methodist Churches, and in 1968 The Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged to become the United Methodist Church. The denomination is one of the largest in the world. Our local congregations share a strong belief in grace – the way that our founder, John Wesley, taught it. With that grace and the love God gives us we believe we are stronger together than being divided by the issues of today.
